Technical Diving allows you to extend your diving beyond recreational “no stop” limits. Technical (tec) diving allows you to expand your diving skills and knowledge and can provide you with experiences and exploration opportunities in places very few people will ever see:
With Aqua Dive's Enhancement Tec Program we can take you right from Intro to Tec to the Tec 50. You can start right from the beginning or if you already have Tec training you can jump in anytime where you left off. The program is taught by Darrin Barker, who respectfully has over 25 years experience in Tec diving. This program is exclusive to Aqua Dive, it's not just another certification it's an experience.
If you ever wondered if Tec Diving was for you and if you would enjoy it, then this is a great start for you. We will go over equipment and what is needed to Tec dive, basic skills in the pool, and weather you like Sidemount or Twin tank diving.
2 hours class. 1 1/2 hours pool.
Let's play with the equipment! In this course we learn all about the equipment for Tec diving, configuration for both sidemount and back mount, and all the components involved for each.
4 hours class. 2 pool dives (1 with sidemount gear, 1 with back mount gear)
This is where you transition from recreational scuba diving to technical diving. It will bridge the gap between no stop diving and full technical deep decompression diving. At the end of this program you will be qualified to make limited decompression dives to 40 meters/130 feet. It will consist of 7 knowledge development sections, 4 practical application sessions and 4 training dives.
